the music from super star car wash, boy named goo, dizzy up the girl, is what we all know and love. dizzy up the girl is 15 years old now. Easy to blindly slam... (5 stars)
Been there from the beginings in the late 80's...seeing the boys in the punk clubs of upstate NY. Followed them through all the twists and turns....from pop stardom to relative pop stars. Do I love the old stuff? With all my heart. But you know what? A great song is a great song is a great song...and a great Goo Goo Dolls song can be punk riffs, blazing rock, anthems, and pop doozies. The new single has a very heavy pop influence compared to some of their older work however, after a couple of lessons, it really started to grow on me. If you're still not convinced, I'd recommend checking out any of John's live acoustic performances of this song from his current radio tour...it is AWESOME!!!
