The Leftovers (Music from the HBO Series) [Season 1] – Max RichterCustomer ReviewsFinally!!! (5 stars)One of the most addictive and gritty shows I’ve watched in quite some time, with an amazing soundtrack to boot. I’d been regularly asking the composer on Twitter about this, with no answer. Now I have one! Great music, especially with the weather being so dark and rainy in California today. I’ve been waiting for months! (5 stars) It was the music that kept me watching this show. If you’re looking for those, start with “November” and then sort through some of his most Incredible. (5 stars) This show wouldn’t be nearly as engrossing or powerful without this magnificent composer’s soundtrack. I have been getting by with Max Richter’s ‘Memoryhouse’ for the past few months, which I also highly recommend, and carries a lot of the same themes as the show’s score. Well worth it.
