Blaster – Scott WeilandCustomer ReviewsAwesome! (5 stars)Okay my review maybe early, but I have heard about half of the album live or online. For real STP fans, it's where we wanted to the music go. For VR fans it's what we could imagine a third album kind of sounding like. For true Scott fans, it's what we always knew he was going to release someday; only better! Listen closely to the all of the subtleties. It's so basic, but such complexity in dynamics and nuance. It's simply great Best Weiland in awhile. (5 stars) I'm a huge Weiland and STP fan. That being said I haven't been a big fan of most recent solo material, and always though the last VR and STP albums were lacking. I just didn't think they had a cohesive direction and were a bit lacking in the awesome department. This new stuff sounds like a great blend of straight classic rock and vintage Weiland. Excited to hear the rest. YUP YUP and more YUP (5 stars) I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album. No need to compare this to VR or STP or any other band. It sounds good. His vocals are matching his bandmates. Controlled chaos.
