Main Course – Bee GeesView More By Bee Gees. Customer ReviewsPrecursor To Disco (5 stars)One of the most influencial albums of the 70s. Good or Bad , this album helped to bring the disco craze. The difference with this record vs. most disco groups is that the Bee Gees could write and perform leagues above everyone else. They were not doing the Hustle or pushing in the bush! Unfortunately their shift to disco took over 30 years for people to forgive them and to start to appreciate their conribution that the the Bee Gees made to Best of the Bee Gees and the beginning of an era! (5 stars) This album was a departure for the Bee Gees. Barry discovered his vocal range and the rest is history. My favorites are "Nights On Broadway" "Jive Talkin'" and, don't forget, "All This Making Love." My favorite track. But, they're all winners. This album was so good some of the songs were included in the "Saturday Night Fever" Soundtrack. Give this disc a whirl!
