Yellow Flicker Beat (From the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1) – Single – LordeCustomer ReviewsShe penetrated Katniss's Mind! (5 stars)LORDE is on Point!!! This girl is just impressing everyone with her lyrical genius! I'm blown away with every feat she accomplishes! And now she's curating an entire soundtrack! I won't be surprised wen she begins producing music for other artists. Slay it Queen B! Excited for this soundtrack and for her second album she's working on as well! I think this fits nicely. (5 stars) I think this song fits in nicely with Mockingjay. It has the slow, eerie elements that reflect the sadness and difficulties that arise during Mockingjay. But it also has the upbeat segments that reflect the rebellion and their successes. There is no doubt that Mockingjay is a sad story, but the lyrics of this song perfectly reflect Katniss’s mood and her objective. "This is the start of how it all ever ends, They used to shout my name umm (3 stars) have mixed feelings about this song. Im a huge fan of lorde and was extremly excited for the release. I kind of feel she should have spent more time perfecting the song, and it sort of feels like if she rushed it. Dont get me wrong the song is good but i was really expecting a more "War" type theme like Glory and Gore.
