Alanis at her best! (5 stars)
The single isn't that much of a departure from her more recent catalog of songs, but it's still amazing. Beautiful sharp voice with truly meaningful lyrics about the human condition. At last. She’s finally back, with a pop power-ballad, that falls nothing short than what you would expect from her. The sound may be a new "Flavor" for her, but the lyrics are still beautifully written, expressing breakdowns in communication, and turn out to be classic Alanis. The song is great, and I've been listening to it nonstop. She's into R&B now, and she did a great job on this song. I highly recommend it. I can't wait for her upcoming album.
