How the heck they continue to think up these gorgeous handful-of-notes choruses with goosebump-worthy synths is beyond me. Kudos, Vince & Andy….shaking my head in admiration and thankful disbelief…. I am Elevated! (5 stars) Bravo! Strong lead single from The Violet Flame. I have followed Erasure since the beginning and have relished in the 30 years of their pop brilliance. They continue to have a knack for creating beats that build on the strength of the lyrics. It is too easy to get lost in the rhythm of their music when you should really focus on the depth of the message in the lyrics. Looking forward to hearing the remainder of the tracks, the numerous elevation is great (4 stars) I love the art work on this recording and the new track Elevation is incredible.... no nonsense dance pop.....
