But while the instrumentation and sonic landscape of this album may be a bit of a departure, the emotional register remains raw, honest, and searing. I suppose there will be fans confused by the band's (Colyn's) growth, indeed already in these few reviews it is easy to see questioning. I wish to applaud their search for new ways to reveal timeless truths. Letter and Madness of Others are, after only a couple Thanks NPR (5 stars) Just heard an interview with these two on NPR.
