My favorites were: Rocket pt. 2, Glory, and I Want You (She's So Heavy). #TLS (5 stars) A forward: I have been following UM since 2001, in the days of the Cabooze in Minneapolis and Big Wu Family Reunions. I saw shows with MM on the drums. There have been countless shows in between then, and 2015 from across the pond ( Jam in the Dam, France, Germany and London) as well as Red Rocks 2005, the Murat and so forth. So when these guys get the opportunity to record in one of the most historic studios in history, I get all warm Face melting goodness (5 stars) Rage.Rest.Repeat. mm/ UMPH love is all you need :) BiographyFormed: 1997 in South Bend, INGenre: Rock Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s A jam band coming out of the Midwest in the mid-'90s, Umphrey's McGee edged toward the Frank Zappa side of the improv rock scale, as opposed to the Grateful Dead/Allman Brothers Band direction of their many contemporaries. The members of Umphrey's McGee met at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
