Like with Radiohead, you don't always know what you will hear from Fiona Apple. The only guarantees you get are that the music will be brilliant, honest and will consume you more and more with each listen. I was intrigued after the first listen; pleasantly surprised after the second - now I'm just obsessed.

Fiona is back (5 stars)
I'm a new fan of Fiona Apple, but when I heard her name it stood out and I gave her a listen. You have to realize that The Idler Wheel... is nothing like her first three albums. This album possesses a massive amount of emotion, honesty, and rawness. She delivers in all of her songs except Hot Knife (my least favorite). I still recommend to buy the whole album, it one of the beat of the year.
