These fine folks married electric rock with the folk/ country tradition and founded both now what they call "Americana" and the entire genre of "Jam Bands." Jump in, the water's fine, and once you start swimming, you're in luck, because there are thousands of recorded hours out there for you to discover. Always Grateful... More of the same. (5 stars) 5 stars because they're the Dead, but I already have these songs scattered out in my library do Dead music. Not in this order, woop-de-dew! I don't buy greatest hits albums, not into it. I'd rather see more live shows from the late 70's and mid 80's. Maybe release Chicago's final show. I may purchase this on disc from my local record stop. What's the lyrics, "Too much of everything's just enough" How fitting.
