Can't Wait To Hear Alice Cooper do Eleanor Rigby

Billy Joel's version of "Maybe I'm Amazed" (5 stars)
Just listened to the soon to be released Billy Joel version of McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed!" And boy am I amazed at how good the song is. A real tribute to Joel's talent as a singer and McCartney's ability as a song writer.

So far, not so good (2 stars)
I love interesting covers of great songs, but 4 of the 5 artists shared so far simply copy McCartney's style, and none do it as well. Yes, Billy Joel sounds great, but he adds nothing new and only makes me want to hear the original. Hello Goodbye is nothing but a poorly done Beatles cover. Eleanor Rigby is bad Karaoke at best and a total embarrassment for Cooper, and Let it Be takes a beautiful melody, and adds and extra hiccup to the key wo
