Standing In the Breach – Jackson BrowneCustomer ReviewsSongwriter! (5 stars)Nearly forty years of JB's music has gotten me through some low points and made me appreciate the gifted songwriter! I am greatful that he still touches me the same way now when he sings, just like he did in 1975 for a seventeen year old teenager. Got a Preview of this one in Concert (5 stars) Includes a nice new take on Birds of St Marks with some 60s sounding guitar parts. I saw Browne this summer in concert. He sang us "Leaving Winslow," so I have heard a bit more of this album. The song had a nice little guitar/train bit in it and hearkens back to his "Take it Easy" song about Winslow. Browne's voice is little deeper now and bit gravelly, but it all just adds character. I think he sounds better now th Huge Fan (5 stars) Can't! Wait!
