Pumpkins are back! (5 stars)
The pumpkins are officially back. I love Oceania. All the tracks are stellar. A definite buy. I also recommend a new band I heard Ripple Street what an awesome ep, but Soul Armor is really killin’ it for me so check them out. But seriously, I hope this means I get to see Pumpkins in concert!

In a world of droll generic formulated music the pumpkins gives us something different from the norm with they're unique own style of music . Glad to see billy continue the legacy . I'm really impressed as a 90s pumpkin fan.

Just sit down for a second and pretend Zeitgeist never happened. Better yet, pretend The Smashing Pumpkins went on hiatus after 1998 and everything afterwards has been a lie implanted into your brain through telekenetic powers stemming from Billy Corgan's shiny bald head. Of all the major alternative rock bands of the early '90s, Smashing Pumpkins were the group least influenced by traditional underground rock. Lead guitarist/songwriter Billy Corgan fashioned an amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth rock, psychedelia, and dream pop, creating a layered, powerful sound driven by swirling, distorted guitars. Corgan was wise enough to exploit his angst-ridden lyrics, yet he never shied away from rock star posturing, even if he did cloak it in allegedly ironic...
