Over The Rhine is one of the best bands out there. Music for mature and soulful adults. Do yourself a favor and discover this band if you have never heard them before. Karin has one of the best voices in music and she and Linford are wonderful songwriter Another Precious Gem (5 stars) My wife and I have been following OtR for just over 20 years; hard to believe any of us could be that old. Over the Rhine has never put out the same album twice; their foundation remains the same but their music has changed and grown over the years. As have we all. “Meet Me At The Edge of The World” has OtR’s familiar folkish sound with just a touch of pedal steel guitar. And we finally get to hear Linford sing! Many of us hav OTR Keeps Topping Itself With Every Album (5 stars) Just Listened to a Preview over at SoundCloud. Each album evolves and is totally different in sound and style from previous ones…but one thing in common-they are all outstanding and can stand on their own. The mixes on this album are sparse, eclectic and perfect. The Steel guitar intro on "I'd want you' paired with Karen's velvet voice: masterful.
