There is no doubt that Chris is perhaps the finest improvising musician walking the planet today. I anticipate this album further demonstrating his already apparent outstanding compositional talents. Future Grammy Nomination (5 stars) Brilliant. Mind blowing. INSPIRING. Another Fine Effort (5 stars) Chris continues his distinguished career as an inventive recording artist of the first rank with this superb ECM release. The combination of great writing and inspired improvising is not new but the instrumentation here deserves special mention.
