Grinning Streak Barenaked! (5 stars)
The album is great - a good step forward for the guys. This deluxe release features some good songs that were unfortunately left off the record: "Blacking Out" is a good rocker that would have fit in with All in Good Time but rises above the dark undertones of much of that album. "Fog of Writing" has some of the best lyrics out of the whole album, and "Who Knew?" features Bassist Jim Creegan on vocals. The acous

By combining humor with an eclectic mix of folk and pop/rock, the Barenaked Ladies enjoyed considerable popularity in their native Canada before rising to international status with 1998's "One Week."
