No other artist has so promiscuously tread and consequently conquered so many facets of contemporary music to such dazzling results. God bless her. She leaves us a most impressive musical legacy. What a voice, what can't she sing! (5 stars) Through the arrangements and her voice, she injects enough Pop to entice the general audience to listen and branch out. While not departing her California soft rock and country roots, this compilation continues her trek toward singing everything including punk or early new wave. She even tackles the often attempted but never duplicated Stones' classic Tumbling Dice, and pulls off perhaps the finest version next to the original. What can't CLEAN???
