Great Studio Sound (5 stars)
Still inventive, Phish's "Waiting All Night" is a real treat. Smooth sound, nice base groove, excelent harmonies, you really get a sense that Phish are still making music that they are passionate about and enjoy playing. Although this entire album made its first appearance as "wingsuit" during the halloween 2013 show, this first Fuego studio release is brilliant! Based on their performance from 10/31/13, I knew that this album would create an atmosphere unique to every other studio album in the past. Think about the legendary bands: The Beatles reinvented themselves with each, subsequent endeavor as did Led Zeppelin.
