Don’t listen to TullyTuna... (5 stars)
obviously some people (TullyTuna) are ignorant to the fact that this is an album of Soul and Funk covers, not originals. IT’S GREAT if you appreciate some throwback tunes.

Everything he does is gold! From years with 311, to Ghostwolf, to this new project, Doug Martinez knows how to touch the heart and soul. Assured to bring uplifting vibes and soul healing rhythms, this one is not to be missed!

This is so funky I can smell it! (4 stars)
This is something different. As a huge 311 fan it is nice to see something different. If I wanted to hear 311 I'd listen to 311. This brings SA back to his soul/funk/latin roots. It's a great mixture. Afterall he did "pass out" when he me the late/great James Brown. I get that feeling on the Didn't I track. It also has a does of one of the badest funk/soul artists in history, Curtis Mayfield.
