Beautiful Life is a lush, R&B inspired, treatment of love songs. Her cover of Marvin Gaye's "I Want You," and Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams," are outstanding. There is also something for fans of Dianne's jazz singing. The wordless "Tango," is by far the standout cut on this set and her take on Lena Horne's "Stormy Tango (5 stars) Will you Tango with me Dianne Reeves? What a ravishing song — the uptime tempo change towards the end rocked it.
