Overall great Assassin's Creed soundtrack, but somewhat lacking (4 stars)
Earlier this year, when I first found out that Assassin's Creed IV would have a new composer (Brian Tyler), I was optimistically skeptical, and rightfully so. Overall, I really like the soundtrack and think that it fits the pirate-theme of the game very well--I especially love the main theme and its variations. However, I feel that the soundtrack lacks the emotional impact that the soundtracks of the previous 5 AC games had on me. For exampl

With this amazing soundtrack, Brian Tyler goes above and beyond what is expected for an AC soundtrack. It is an honor to be the first one to review this amazingly powerful, emotional, and exciting score. Well done Mr. Tyler!
