(5 stars)I've been an enormous fan of Dry the River ever since Shallow Bed and I have extremely high expectations for their sophomore record. My expectations were met when they released the first single of the album, Gethsemane. It's everything I could have hoped for. Their second single, Everlasting Light was not exceedingly great, so I'm praying that the rest of the record goes in the direction that Gethsemane is going in. Stunning Sophomore Album (5 stars) Dry the River never ceases to amaze me. It is blatantly obvious that they took their time with this album and it is simply amazing. Every note has been masterfully crafted and serves its purpose to the letter. The range of this collection is wonderful from the driving force of "Everlasting Light" to the beautiful soaring chorus of "Vessel," this album will leave you feeling fulfilled and challenged.
