(5 stars)Just a little background to explain where my opinion is coming from: I have been a long time fan of The Haunted, though I won't be one of "those" who will claim I've been a hardcore fan since their first band practice in a garage somewhere. In truth, I became a fan when Dolving rejoined the band for his longest tenure (and also when they signed to Century)— this was rEVOLVEr (2004). Something about that record really hooked me an Vocal change ruined this for me (2 stars) I’m sorry, i always liked to hear my metal sung rather than screamed. Screaming is fine for emphasis when appropriate, but by going in this direction, it sounds like all the other metal out there now. The last few records were progressively amazing and I loved the dynamic range the vocalist had. This is very narrow. Brutal Good! :) (5 stars) I Love It!
