Obscure, Christine McVie-heavy re-release (3 stars)
I had to dig to find anything out on this, but according to www.systemrecords.co.uk, this is "early Fleetwood Mac from 1970, plus 4 tracks from 1969 by the pre-Mac Christine Perfect Band. Mixture of studio and live tracks concentrating on the post-Peter Green Fleetwood Mac with Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan."

So the "different sound" here is due to the fact that this is one of the many phases of the band that p

Is this Fleetwood Mac? Yep. Ok, hmm, cool... (3 stars)
This is no doubt the most unique album FM ever released so far. Almost gone is the typical sound I associate with the band. But still, a few songs, such as Gone Into the Sun, unmistakably could have made it into any previous album. Weaved into the album are a half-dozen pure blues-jamming sessions that may or may not provide additional value for most FM-semifans. Stevie's voice becomes a tad deeper and some tracks are purely instrumental
